I am a hopeless fan of Australian music, particularly form the 1960's and 1970's. When I saw a postcard of this trio for some reason the Bee Gees immedaitely sprang to mind. Being the festive season at the time you can see by the colours I had got into the spirit of things. Sadly less than two weeks after I'd completed the painting, Maurice Gibb had died.
